 Heroes in Sisters

January 20 – 22nd, 2017

Weekend sports retreat for Veterans and their families

OAS is hosting our 9th annual “Heroes in Sisters” event. Heroes in Sisters is a weekend adventure sports retreat designed to honor Pacific Northwest Veterans with permanent physical disabilities and their families. It is one of OAS’ largest and most popular events of the season and a great opportunity to meet, have fellowship with Veterans, try a new sport or improve a current skill.

The weekend includes use of specialized ski and snowboard equipment, lessons, adaptive instructors, trained volunteers, meals, and two nights lodging. OAS and Disabled Sports USA along with many local businesses often contribute to make this event cost-free for our veterans. OAS hopes to show you what you can do regardless of your injuries. Participants must RSVP. Registration for Heroes in Sisters will open in early Winter. For questions or if you’d like to join our email distribution list to receive the latest notifications please email us at info@oregonadativesports.org or give us a call at 541-306-4774.
