10th Annual Heroes in Sisters Ski/Snowboard Weekend

January 20 – 22, 2017
The Heroes in Sisters weekend is one of OAS’ largest and most popular events of the winter. The purpose of the event is to honor Pacific Northwest veterans with permanent physical disabilities and their families, and to have a great time skiing and snowboarding -at no cost. Lodging in Sisters, Oregon is provided at no cost to the participant and their immediate family (spouse/significant other/children) for Friday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, Jan. 21 (one room per participant and family).
Dinner and a meet’n’greet with OAS volunteers and instructors in Sisters, Oregon provided by OAS.
Ski/snowboard day at Hoodoo, starting promptly at 9am with an all-participant/volunteer/instructor meeting. The on-snow portion of the day will include ski/snowboard instruction, equipment, lunch, and a group photo. *The primary focus of the event is to assist veterans with disabilities with snow sports. OAS will attempt to provide snow sports opportunities to family members to the best of our ability.
Sunday, Jan. 22:
If you are not returning home right away there is the option of skiing/snowboarding again with OAS at Hoodoo.
