The 6th Annual OAS Junior Racers / Ellie Bartlett Ski Day
Saturday, February 2nd at Hoodoo Ski Area
This event is a day of skiing at Hoodoo Ski Area. Youth under the age of 25 who have a physical disability are eligible for this fun event. We provide this event at no cost to you! This includes the use of adaptive ski equipment, pizza party and the very popular costume contest. Racers will have a blast skiing/boarding with our outstanding instructors and volunteers!
IN HONOR OF ELLIE: Ellie Bartlett was and forever will be an integral part of our community. Ellie had such wonderful, exuberant energy. Ellie was full of life and ready to take it by the horns! Ellie was the instrumental student in heading up University of Oregon volunteers over the past few years. She worked hard to not only recruit more volunteers for our program and volunteer herself, but was also instrumental in working with the University’s access club to encourage students with disabilities to come out and ski. We will greatly miss her involvement with OAS and are heartbroken to think of the wonderful soul the world lost last year.
Ellie loved our Junior Racers day and all the costumes, joy and fun that came with it. This year on February 2nd we will be hosting this day in honor of her.
Our registration deadline is Sunday, January 27. To register, head over to our registration page.
