Adaptive Ski Lessons - Hoodoo Ski Area and Mt. Bachelor
For first-timers and those wishing to learn adaptive skiing or simply improve their skills, we offer half-day and full-day lessons. Family and friends are encouraged to take part in this instruction along with the participants at Hoodoo Ski Area and Mt. Bachelor. We offer a morning, afternoon or full day lesson. Lesson Times
Morning: 9:30am - 12pm (includes ½ hour set-up and 2 hours on the mountain).
Afternoon: 1pm – 3:30pm (includes ½ hour set-up and 2 hours on the mountain).
Full Day: 9:30am – 3:30 pm (with an hour off for lunch).

Lesson Rates
$90 for one lesson (morning or afternoon)
• Includes 2.5 hour lesson (allows for setup, orientation and on-hill lesson)
• Adaptive equipment
• All-mountain lift ticket
• One instructor and one volunteer

$125 for full day
• Includes 5 hour lesson (allows for setup, orientation and on-hill lesson)
• Adaptive equipment
• All-mountain lift ticket
• One instructor and one volunteer

Ski Buddy at Hoodoo Ski Area or Mt. Bachelor
More experienced adaptive skiers may need nothing more than a “buddy” to ski with. OAS Ski Buddies are trained volunteers who will provide on-the-hill help or any other form of personal assistance that does NOT involve instruction. Ski Buddies are available at both Hoodoo Ski Area and Mt. Bachelor.

Ski Buddy, $55 includes
• Adaptive equipment
• All-mountain lift ticket
• One ski buddy

Scheduling
Scheduling is important so we may accommodate everyone who would like to participate. Students or their parents should call Jeremy Fox @ 541-848-9390 at least three days prior to the day(s) they wish to ski to schedule a lesson.
Cancellations must be called in at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson day.

Season
OAS’s season runs from December - April, depending on snowfall. Saturday and Sunday are the primary days for participation, but any day may be scheduled depending on availability of equipment and staff. Special arrangements are possible with prior notice.
