OAS offers climbing experiences, lessons and outings for all people of all abilities. Experiences are catered to meet the individual’s needs and goals. Adaptive climbing experiences are available to participants ages 7 and up. OAS has trained staff and volunteers as well as cutting edge adaptive equipment to accommodate a wide range of abilities.
OAS has all the equipment you need to adapt your climbing experience including a variety of harnesses, the Wellman 4:1 system, a seated harness and the Evolv prosthetic foot and climbing shoe. Climbing shoes are provided by partner organizations.

INCLUSIVE CLIMBING CLUB:
This inclusive climbing club is a space for people of all abilities to climb with each other in a fun indoor setting. Differing from its prior setup, the idea is that all climbers (volunteers and participants) can climb together, learning how to support each other just like any other group of people climbing together. An OAS instructor will be there to instruct and aid beginner climbers. Advanced sign up is required.
Cost: $10 (including gear rentals)
Schedule: First Tuesday of Every Month Year Round 4:40 – 6:30 pm

SMITH ROCK OUTINGS:
Been pulling on plastic all winter long? Bring those skills you’ve been practicing to Smith Rock State Park for climbing outdoors. This outing is designed for climbers who want to develop their skills further and be outside for the day. Transportation from the office is provided, contact OAS for more information.

INCLUSIVE PROGRAMMING AT BRG:
Bend Rock Gym offers adaptive rates for all of their pass options. They have also partnered with OAS to offer all of their indoor programming for youth to participants of all abilities. Participants are able to request an OAS climbing instructor* be there to support them in class. Contact OAS or check out BRG’s website for more information.
