Adaptive Golfers

 

From May through September OAS partners with Awbrey Glen Golf Club to offer adaptive golf programs for people with disabilities age 8 and up. These programs makes one of the countries premier golf destinations accessible for individuals with disabilities.


ABILITY GOLF CLINICS:

Lets get out and make some swings!  OAS is hosting monthly golf sessions in partnership with Awbrey Glen Golf Club from May to September.  We will meet between the practice green and the driving range.  All clinics are from 5:00 – 6 pm, please be prompt.

Cost: FREE

Schedule: Thursdays from 5 – 6 pm, May 24, June 21, July 12, August 16, September 6

PAR-3 COURSE & PRACTICE PLAY:

If you are ready to take your game to the next level, Awbrey Glen offers participants of the Ability Golf program to play the Par-3 course. OAS can provide volunteers to assist with play.  The Par-3 course and practice range are open to OAS athletes on Mondays after 3pm, free of charge.  Advance notice to Awbrey Glen is required and all players must adhere to Awbrey Glen dress code.

Schedule: Mondays after 3 pm between late May to early September.  Advance sign up required.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED PLAY:

Front-nine course play at Awbrey Glen is available Mondays after 3:00pm.  OAS can provide volunteers to caddie/instruct with advance scheduling.  Advance notice to Awbrey Glen is required and all players must adhere to Awbrey Glen dress code.

Cost: $25

Schedule: Mondays after 3 pm, between late May to early September.  Advance sign up required.
