Benefits from practicing yoga are diverse and broad from deepening connection with one’s self and others, enhanced ability to manage stress, increased calm, flexibility, strength, and balance. This is a space for people of all abilities to practice together.
OAS YOGA FOR EveryBODY:
Bi-weekly all abilities yoga class taught by OAS’ own Kadee Mardula. Kadee, a 200-hour certified Hatha & Vinyasa yoga instructor, is a yogi scientist with a background in mechanical engineering and biomechanics. She is ecstatic to share her practice of mindfulness, meditation and movement with adaptations to fit every body.
OAS Yoga for EveryBODY is open to all abilities ages 16 & up (younger participants possible with instructor approval).
We welcome students who are and are not adaptive athletes, including family and friends. The class will focus on physical adaptations for each yogini to gain the benefits of poses in their body. It is a space for people of all abilities to come together and experience the benefits of practicing yoga in community. Yoga can be adapted to fit individuals of all abilities, feel free to call if you have any questions.
