June 15th @ Riverbend Park: Bike, hike, paddle.

Join us for a full day of paddling, hiking, and cycling out of Riverbend Park in the Old Mill District! Community Days are days where the OAS community, participants, volunteers, family, and friends alike, can come together to celebrate and participate in outdoor recreation for people of all abilities.

During the Community Day at Riverbend Park we will bring our fleet of kayaks, tandem kayaks and paddle boards, as well as many of our adaptive cycles for any/all to try. OAS staff will be present as well as assigned volunteers who are ready to assist individuals as needed. You are also encouraged to bring your own gear if you have it and recreate/socialize with everyone.

We will have a BBQ going from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. We will be grilling hamburgers, veggieburgers, hotdogs/brats, and veggie brats with associated fixings and some snacks!

You can show up anytime and stay for as long as you’d like. We will be set up and ready to go by 10:00am and will break down at 3:00pm. If you need transportation, because this event takes place in the city of Bend, you can arrange dial-a-ride transportation to drop you off at Riverbend Park, 799 SW Columbia St, Bend, OR 97702. Please arrange for drop off to not be earlier than 10:00am and pick up to not be later than 3:00pm.

Community Programs are spaces for people of all abilities to come together and participate, regardless of ability. Friends, family and community members welcome.
