Volunteers who attend this 2 hour, on-snow alpine training will learn the basics of guiding experienced athletes with visual impairments (VI) on the slopes. Volunteers who complete this training will complete a skills check before being assigned to guide an athlete.
This Training is open to all Return Volunteers. Upon completion of this on-snow portion, If volunteer desires to continue as a Guide, they must also complete an online, 90min Safe Sport training (on their own time), and consent to a background check.
