Cycle Oregon Classic 2023 Trip Report
OAS was able to support 4 athletes for the 2023 Cycle Oregon Classic! Cycle Oregon is a multi-day supported road ride through Oregon’s most iconic bike routes. OAS supported from day 2 to day 6, Sept 11-15th, of Cycle Oregon’s Classic, which totals up to 5 days of riding. Support Provided:
OAS provided on-course and in-camp support. On-course support looks like: Tandem captains, someone to ride with or near you, OAS sag team for on course repairs and simple fixes, transport of personal gear, and more. In-camp support included help setting up camp, loading and unloading equipment, guiding to and from events and meals, and other non-personal care needs as requested.

Theme of the Day: Today was all about strategy and tackling the unexpected. Knowing yourself, your teammates, and getting there together – everyone finishes together.
Day Five
Newport Out & Back / Layover Day
Miles: 37
Elevation Gain: 1000′
Theme of the Day: Friends, flats and fish. Today was a layover day here at Cycle Oregon. Which means the sights are at a premium; docks laden with sea lions, ocean views abound, and a day to ride to recover. Sandy beach walks, flat tires, fish, and stunning coastal views brought in a day for the books.
