Welcome and thank you for your interest in becoming an OAS volunteer! We’re excited to meet you and thrilled for you to join our volunteer team. Winter program volunteers are confident, intermediate to advanced riders that provide support for private alpine lessons, snowboard lessons, and community nordic sessions. OAS welcomes volunteers to participate in our adaptive winter programs at any of our three mountain locations: Hoodoo, Mt. Bachelor, and Mt. Ashland. Currently, OAS offers an adaptive Nordic program at Mt. Bachelor.
OAS onboards and trains new volunteers twice a year before the winter and summer program seasons. All new OAS volunteers are required to attend a New Volunteer Orientation and complete program-specific training before assisting with any programs.
Program Volunteer Application
Completing a Volunteer Application will generate your volunteer account with OAS MyImpact, which is how you will register an orientation, your pre-season training, and afterwards volunteer opportunities!

All New Volunteer Orientations will be held at the OAS Headquarters (345 SW Cyber Dr Ste. 103, Bend, OR, 97702). If you are not able to attend an orientation in Bend please stay tuned for our virtual New Volunteer Orientation dates.
Next Step: On-Snow Training
After attending a New Volunteer Orientation, you are required to attend a program-specific training before assisting with any programs. Through your Volunteer Account training opportunities will open up to register but for now please save one of the dates below!
