Dear Friends of OAS,

We all want to feel included. We all want to belong. It’s an instinct as old as humanity, to gather, to share experiences, to feel the rush of joy when we accomplish something together.

At Oregon Adaptive Sports, belonging happens on the chairlift and on the trail, in laughter over a shared fall, or in that quiet moment of pride when an athlete takes a first glide on snow. Every experience, every volunteer helping hand, every cheer from the sidelines, every generous gift, builds a stronger sense of community.

This year, we’re reminded that connection fuels everything we do. From our biggest First Chair Gala yet to an expanded summer season that created over 1,000 outdoor experiences, OAS continues to grow not just in numbers, but in impact. And it’s all because of you, the people who believe that everyone deserves the chance to discover, explore, and belong.

Winter’s on its way, and so is the stoke! Athlete registration opens soon, volunteer orientations begin next month, and a beach-themed Ski For All weekend (March 13–14) is ready to make waves on the mountain.

Together, we’re creating high-quality outdoor recreation experiences for individuals with disabilities. One turn, one trail, one shared moment at a time.

Hope to see you out there!

Pat Addabbo,

Executive Director, OAS
