Practice 2: Mountain Meditation

Video Description: Meditation for stability and grounding.  We will use a visualization or feeling of a mountain through the seasons to bring stability into our own inner landscape. 

Props

Chair or ground to sit on

Ground: Blanket or pillow to raise hips

Tips for Success

  • Get your family to join you
  • Fidget and adjust so you are comfortable – limit the distractions you can control, like being cold. 
  • If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to your breath.
